Tuskegee Board Decline Vote On President

Tuskegee Institute, Alabama, Cascade Press, This weekend, the Tuskegee Board of Trustees declined to take a vote on firing President Brian Johnson. The board met on the historic campus of Tuskegee University for their annual fall meeting, September 29 through October 1.

A contingent of “concerned alumni” from Atlanta, Georgia and Tuskegee, Alabama held out hope that they could convince the Tuskegee Trustees that dismissing Johnson was in the best interest of the university. This group began each day of the board meeting at the gravesite of Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver. They prayed for guidance and the right words to speak in their conversations with board members. read more

Is Clinton Or Stein Eligible To Be President?

Here we go again? Now that the birther issue has finally been put to bed by Donald Trump, a new constitutional question arises concerning eligibility to serve as President of the United States. This election cycle the issue of eligibility does not center on citizenship, but on sex.

Albeit, this specter is raised only by this writer, but it is not too far-fetched to imagine that Donald Trump, should he lose the 2016 General Election, would raise this question. After all he spent six years and good money investigating where the first American president of African descent was born in an attempt, not to delegitimize the Barack Obama presidency, but to have cause to remove him from office. read more

What if Hillary Rodham Clinton really is  sick? What then? Is there a plan B?

Normally, a person diagnosed with pneumonia is still feeling the weaken effects of the disease six days after the diagnosis. Yet six days after she was diagnosed and four days after she stumbled during the 9-1-1 Observance on Sunday in New York City, Clinton was back on the campaign trail. Eminent Associates Withhold Funds To Tuskegee

Eminent Associates, an elite group of financial contributors to Tuskegee University has withheld funds raised for the university. The group annually makes a sizable donation to the university during the Fall Convocation. However, when the group met last weekend (September 9-11, 2016) on the historic campus of Tuskegee University, they declined to write a check. read more

Tuskegee’s Woes On Display At Football Game

ATLANTA, GEORGIA, Cascade Press,Tuskegee’s administrative woes were on display at a Saturday night football game against Clark-Atlanta University. A Tuskegee graduate, Carl Trimble, clad in psychedelic pants and a white polo shirt hoisted a banner outside the main gate of  Panther Stadium on the historic CAU campus, as fans of both schools streamed by on their way to witness Tuskegee defeat Clark-Atlanta University 36-13. read more

Trouble At Tuskegee University Getting Worse

I feel so sad for what is happening at Tuskegee University and to the Pride that once defined the swift growing south. If I say anymore, my fellow alumni will accuse me of hating on the school that educated me. But I need to say more, do more, scream more; or go onto the campus and turn over a few tables like Christ did in the temple. read more

Kaepernick’s Fearless Duane Thomas Stance

Colin Kaepernick,28 years of age and entering his third year in the National Football League, has the league standing on its ear. Practically every player, including some of his fellow San Francisco 49ers, is speaking out against his intentional failure to stand during the playing of the National Anthem. Kaepernick has vowed to sit during the playing of the National Anthem at the beginning of each of his team’s football games. read more

Green Party Demand U S Cut Aid To Saudis

The Green Party, sensing that Jill Stein has positioned herself to be a serious contender for the presidency, has issued a statement demanding that the “U. S. cut aid to the Saudis,” said Robin Laverne Wilson, the Green Party nominee for the U. S. Senate seat currently held by Charles Ellis “Chuck” Schumer (D, New York). Wilson said, “the U. S. should use intense diplomatic pressure to halt the Saudis’ war in Yemen.” read more

Jill Stein Poised To Win Or Spoil It!

Jill Stein is poised to spoil or win the 2016 election for president of the United States. Last week Stein’s campaign released data showing that she has successfully gained access to 37 of the nation’s 50 state ballots.

Ballot access is automatically given to the nominees of the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. In order for an Independent or other political party to be listed on the ballot in each of the states, they must secure a predetermined number of signatures on a petition requesting to be placed on the ballot. read more

Harvey Going Beyond The Law
