On the first day of spring, March 19, 2020, the American President called a news conference to ostensibly update the country on the effort to stem the tide of the Covid-19 virus. Things were going well, then the President announced there was a drug that worked well against the coronavirus had been approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

A Short Note on the Pandemic #7
Yesterday, March 18, 2020, the President assembled his rapid response pandemic team for another press conference. He slurred his words, grew weary of trying to read his prepared remarks, then called on the Vice-President to tell the American people the contents of his speech.
Furthermore, on the leadership front, the President made excuses for the difficulty of the pandemic. One wonders how he ran his businesses. All the problems in the world come with a degree of difficulty. The reason we pay the leadership big bucks is for them to solve complex problems. When leadership whine about the complexities confronting them, it does not give confidence to the people led. Thus, unnecessary worry and concern experienced by Americans today.
Is He Is or Is He Ain’t A Racist
Is he is or is he ain’t a racist. Some say that he is, others say that no, he can’t be. He concedes that he “is the least racist person” on the planet. This admission is significant merely because it is the single thing that he boasts about where he is not number one.
Whether he is or is not a racist is debatable. There is a strong case for attaching the racist label to the 45th US President. His supporters refute this argument. They explain he is talking about the harmful elements of the groups he targets with harsh words. Albeit, those words get projected on the law-abiding people as well.
Mueller Clears Trump of Collusion-But Not Obstruction
Special Counsel Robert Mueller after a 22-month long investigation clears President Donald J. Trump of collusion with the Russians to influence the 2016 Presidential election.
Mueller’s delivered his confidential report to Attorney General William Barr as required by law over the weekend. Then, Barr issued a four-page letter to leaders of the Senate and the House.
Getting Down in the Gutter with Trump
No one in the US House of Representatives will confuse Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) as the gentlelady from Michigan. How is that possible after her first day on the job in which she called the nation’s chief executive a Mother, you know what?
Perhaps I should not be so mild mannered that I cannot say the word in public. Let’s have a go at it.
King James Trumps The Loud Mouth Without Trying
King James trumps the loud mouth in the White House. LeBron James a high school graduate and multi-millionaire proves once again that he is smarter than the loud mouth in the White House. Said loud mouth is purported to have a degree from the Wharton School of Business and to have millions of dollars that no one seems to be able to verify.
Neither A Peep, Nor A Tweet Over Nashville and Saraland Waffle House From Trump
My maternal grandmother had an intense dislike for Herbert Hoover. She believed that Hoover was too much of an aristocrat to have empathy for the average American.
She knew fascinating details about all of the presidents from Teddy Roosevelt to Ronald Reagan. She was married the year before Hoover came into power. Her first child, my mom, was born six weeks after Hoover was elected.
Former NBA Star Sha-ron Wright Blasts Ball-Trump Fight
Former National Basketball Association (NBA) star Sha-ron Wright blasted LaVar Ball, Sr. for his war of words with President Donald J. Trump over whether Ball’s “troops on the ground” or Trump’s influence with Chinese President Xi Jinping led to Ball’s son LiAngelo Ball being released from Chinese custody.
“I’m not a Republican or a Trump supporter by any means, but if Sharone, Jr. or Nicholas or Thijs was in China and was being detained for a crime that was typically punishable by a few years in a Chinese jail and Trump got him out and set free, I would have said thank you,” the father of three up and coming basketball players said.
LiAngelo Ball and two of his UCLA teammates were arrested for shoplifting while in China to play a basketball game against Georgia Tech. Their arrest occurred while the US President was in China on a state visit. Over cocktails, Trump asked Jinping if he would secure the young men’s release. After Trump left China the three were released and allowed to return to the USA.
Ball downplayed the role played by Trump in his son’s release, stating that if LiAngelo had been placed on Air Force One and brought back to the country with Trump, then he would have offered a thanks to the President.
“I’ve lived and played in China for two years and yes it’s a Communist country. They take these types of things seriously. They don’t know anything about “Big Baller” brand and could care less,” Wright said.
In 1994, Wright, a Clemson graduate, was the sixth overall pick in the NBA draft. He was taken by the Philadelphia 76ers. Wright’s High School coach, the legendary Donald Richardson at Southwest High in Macon, Georgia was a stickler for discipline and taught winning by developing high moral character in his student athletes.
Wright believes that Ball, Sr. should be more concerned with what is in LiAngelo’s best interest than with selling the “Big Baller” brand.
“In this case,” Wright said, “I believe political influence was definitely used to get the three players out of trouble.”
“Whether Trump used his influence for recognition or not is irrelevant. What’s relevant is getting your son home safe and sound. Get off your high horse and say thank you,” Wright admonished.
Wright believes many in the African American community have been quick to choose sides in what is essentially an ego-tripping twitter war between a Madison Avenue shyster and a Rodeo Drive hustler.
“Some of you will take Ball’s side because you hate Trump or white people or whatever and that’s your business and it’s racist. I don’t like Trump either but I love my sons more. More than politics, racial bullshit and all,” Wright said.
According to Wright, lost in this war of words between Trump and Ball is one simple question:
“As a parent I’d be asking myself what the heck is wrong with my son for stealing anything anyway when supposedly he’s a ‘Big Baller,’ showing up in high school with two Ferrari’s and a Rolls Royce.”
The better question for the public to ask is not whether Trump helped or did not help, rather “How are you (Ball, Sr.) raising your son,” Wright queried.
Duh!

Americans Would Be Reluctant To Follow Trump Into War
Americans would be reluctant to follow Donald J. Trump into war. At least a sampling of cyberfriends on the social media site Facebook seems to suggest this is the case.
When asked: “Honestly, would you follow 45 into war,” 99.9 percent of the respondents replied with some version of expletive no.
One respondent took exception to the question and responses by resorting to vile name calling. She saw this unscientific poll as an attempt by liberals to denigrate Trump’s win.
A female school teacher in Florida said she would not follow 45 into war. She added, “If I was younger, I would keep myself pregnant.”
A federal employee who lives in New York said, “I would not follow him down the block.”
A young lady who lives in Middle Georgia said,”I would not follow 45 across the street, much less to war.”
A cosmetics industry executive said, “I wouldn’t follow him across the street with a green light.” With emphasis on “with a green light.”
One young lady opined, “There is no ‘following’ a nuclear war.”
“I wouldn’t follow him into a building,” a young Black male said.
A female political consultant in Macon-Bibb County, Georgia said, “I would not follow him down Dempsey Avenue.” Ironically, Dempsey Avenue, now known as Mercer University Boulevard was widened in the early 1970s via funding from the Richard Nixon administration. Ostensibly to facilitate the movement of federal tanks through the heart of the predominately Black Unionville community in case of urban unrest.
A beauty pageant winner from Michigan averred that 45’s “Children won’t go to war,” as justification for her not following him into war.
“I wouldn’t follow him anywhere. I would head in the opposite direction,” a television producer said.
“I would not follow 45 into a church,” a prominent Georgia death penalty lawyer offered.
“Only long enough to make sure he made it to the front,” said a deputy director of a mental health facility in Northern California.
A landscape photographer said, “Only if he is taking point.”
“No, I wouldn’t follow him to 7-Eleven,” said a journalist and Ex-Pat living in Paris.
“I wouldn’t follow him into Kmart,” a retired United Methodist pastor added.
Granted the vast majority of the respondents are past military service age, but judging from this non-scientific polling, it appears that 45 would be hard pressed to find support for a war that he can brand as his own.

One More Reason Why USA Can’t Wait Till 2020
The United States of America can not wait until 2020 to select a President to look out for the best interests of the country. This fact became crystal clear to anyone painfully watching the 45th President of the USA in Houston on Saturday.
During this visit, he talked about how beautiful it has been for the country to watch on television the tragic destruction of USA citizens lives.
He even exhorted those helping the beleaguered Texans to get their lives back together again, to go out and have some fun.
Seemingly, what is happening in the wake of Hurricane Harvey is a game without real life consequences to the USA President .
This was the second trip to Texas this week by the President. He had to return because on his first trip, he failed miserably at communicating empathy for the USA citizens caught in the destructive forces of Hurricane and now Storm Harvey.
His first trip to Texas, two days into the storm was all about him and his high heels wearing wife. They breezed into Texas to make a cameo appearance.
Perhaps they did so, because the presidential playbook left by previous administrations suggests that the President of the USA must make such appearances. Both number 45 and the First Lady went through the motions. They went, but came away with poor press reports on their visit.
So three days after his first visit, number 45 returned to clear up the bad press from his first visit. He would have done better if he had thumbed his nose to the suffering Texans by going off to golf at one of his resorts at the expenses of the USA treasury.
This guy does not have a clue about how 99 percent of Americans live from day to day. He does not know what it is to etch out a living in good times, and has no way to empathize when a family loses the only home they have and cannot just say, “No problem, we’ll move to our property in Boca Raton.”
Every time the 45th President opens his mouth, or tweets with his fingers, it gives one more reason why the country can not wait until the next scheduled Presidential General Election.
