One More Reason Why USA Can’t Wait Till 2020

The United States of America can not wait until 2020 to select a President to look out for the best interests of the country. This fact became crystal clear to anyone painfully watching the 45th President of the USA in Houston on Saturday.

During this visit, he talked about how beautiful it has been for the country to watch on television the tragic destruction of USA citizens lives.

He even exhorted those helping the beleaguered Texans to get their lives back together again, to go out and have some fun.

Seemingly, what is happening in the wake of Hurricane Harvey is a game without real life consequences to the USA President .

This was the second trip to Texas this week by the President. He had to return because on his first trip, he failed miserably at communicating empathy for the USA citizens caught in the destructive forces of Hurricane and now Storm Harvey.

His first trip to Texas, two days into the storm was all about him and his high heels wearing wife. They breezed into Texas to make a cameo appearance.

Perhaps they did so, because the presidential playbook left by previous administrations suggests that the President of the USA must make such appearances. Both number 45 and the First Lady went through the motions. They went, but came away with poor press reports on their visit.

So three days after his first visit, number 45 returned to clear up the bad press from his first visit. He would have done better if he had thumbed his nose to the suffering Texans by going off to golf at one of his resorts at the expenses of the USA treasury.

This guy does not have a clue about how 99 percent of Americans live from day to day. He does not know what it is to etch out a living in good times, and has no way to empathize when a family loses the only home they have and cannot just say, “No problem, we’ll move to our property in Boca Raton.”

Every time the 45th President opens his mouth, or tweets with his fingers, it gives one more reason why the country can not wait until the next scheduled Presidential General Election.
