If Omarosa Has The Smoking Gun Should She Be Heard

If Omarosa Manigault Newman has the smoking gun which would bring an end to the Trump presidency should she be heard?

I pose this question because on Sunday’s Meet The Press with Chuck Todd, Omarosa said her third book, Unhinged: An Inside Account of the Trump White House (Galley Books, 330 pages, 2018), reveals she witnessed Trump place a sheet of paper in his mouth and chew on it after receiving it from his then fix it attorney Michael Cohen.

Todd did not follow up to find out what information was contained on this sheet of paper, nor why Trump felt the need to ensure that the contents of that paper did not fall in the wrong hands.

Todd had prearranged questions he wanted to ask which were designed to slant his program in the direction of why should anyone care that Manigault Newman had written a tell all book on the Trump White House.

The Meet The Press query seems to be the conventional wisdom as both the White House and an overwhelming majority of the Black community find Omarosa’s credibility lacking “bigly.”

But what if she holds the smoking gun that proves Trump violated campaign finance regulations in paying off porn stars for sexual favors? What then?

What if her account of this meeting between Trump and Cohen corroborates evidence that Cohen has provided or will provide to special Investigator Robert Mueller? So what?

Should this evidence be overlooked by Mueller simply because the smoking gun is attested to by Omarosa whose community does not want to hear anything she has to say?

“Bye Felicia!”

I’m asking for a friend.

  1. Absolutely, Omarosa must be heard! She is the “Spook who was allowed to get beyond the White House Door!” Such intelligence played a major role in our freedom from slavery.
