Harold Michael Harvey leads the Speaker’s Bureau and brings decades of expertise on race and justice in America. His journey began at the age of four during a visit to a local general store, where he first encountered the harsh realities of racial segregation. That early experience sparked a lifelong quest to understand racial divisions and advocate for equality.
While retrieving a toy behind a sales counter, Harold Michael was angrily reprimanded by the shop owner and threatened with reform school. Upon returning home, his grandmother introduced him to the concept of “Jim Crow,” a lesson that would stay with him and guide his pursuit of justice throughout his life.
At age 14, Harold Michael Harvey integrated a white junior high school in Bibb County, Georgia, an experience that gave him a deep understanding of racial prejudice and the importance of equality. These formative experiences shaped his perspective and fueled his decision to pursue a career in law, dedicating himself to fighting for justice and advocating for those impacted by systemic inequality.
