EnTietainer Interviews Harold Michael Harvey

Derrick Hayes “The enTIEtainer” recently reached out to me for an interview. I was humbled and honored that he would ask to interview me for his show. I have followed The enTIEtainer for about ten years.

We meet on Twitter around 2010 exchanging positive affirmations to start our day. I knew that he was a special man with a gift for developing concepts with the letters contained in the simple words we use every day.

Two years ago, he spoke to an anti-bullying group in Atlanta, so I went out to meet him for the first and only time. He tried to teach me how to tie a bow tie, but I still do not get it.

When he requested to interview me, I jumped at the opportunity to share with his audience. In preparation for the interview, Hayes said he would take FREAK, the base word from my memoir titled, “Freaknik Lawyer: A Memoir on the Craft of Resistance,” to form the basis of his questions.

Hayes explained that F stood for family, R for relationships, E for education, A for Atlanta, and K for keys to success.

Surprisingly, I was able to distill my core principles in life and explain who I am more succinctly than ever before.

I hope you enjoy the video and find the motivating principles of my life useful as you navigate the resistance placed in your pathway.
