Donald J. Trump is too reckless and Hillary Clinton is too careless. What is the American voter to do in November?

Now that the Inspector General, the FBI and the Justice Department have completed their exhaustive investigations into Hillary Clinton’s usage of a private email server and other electronic devices the field is finally set for the 2016 Presidential race.

Barring any major, earth shattering developments the American voter will have a choice between the reckless cavalier behavior of Trump or the careless Pinocchio type attitude of Clinton.

What a choice!

It is hard to pick which candidate will do less harm to the country. Trump is inexperienced in foreign affairs. His reckless approach to international relations is certain to destroy the good relations American presidents have worked to achieve. While Secretary Clinton cannot be counted upon to keep America’s secrets out of the hands of her enemies.

Both candidates have a penchant for not telling the truth. Trump finds it difficult to admit any of the verbiage he has used to depict Mexicans, Jews, women and Blacks is racist to the core.

Clinton, according to FBI Director James Comey, failed to tell the truth about her use of the now “damned email server.” Comey’s report refuted every public utterance Clinton made in explanation for what her private email server received or did not receive; as well as, what her server transmitted or what it did not transmit. A day after the FBI cleared her of criminal intent in the use of her email server, Clinton provided the best presidential campaign visuals since Lyndon Johnson’s atomic bomb commercial in the 1964 race against Barry Goldwater, the Republican candidate Clinton supported that year.

Clinton stood in front of a boarded up Trump Casino on the Boardwalk in New Jersey. Her imagery dramatically drove home the point that Trump’s reckless policies would bankrupt the national treasury. This is a powerful image to take into the fall campaign.

While on the other hand, nothing in the FBI’s report diverts Trump’s characterization of Clinton as Crooked Hillary. This moniker will provide Trump with as compelling a campaign visual as Clinton’s campaign rally in front of Trump’s defunct casino. Just imagine commercial after commercial depicting Clinton’s false claims about her email usage and James Comey’s rebuttal of each of her claims.

Reckless Trump or Careless Clinton, this is the question? One can not be trusted with the national treasury and the other can not be trusted to safekeep state secrets. Oh my! Things have deteriorated drastically since the days that the Black Camelot steady the ship of state back in ’08.
